Pelvic floor in detail

After pregnancy, you deserve care too

After pregnancy, many conversations revolve around the baby: how they sleep, feed and grow. Among those questions, another equally important one can get lost: how are you? Your rest, sensations and questions about the pelvic floor deserve care too.

Recovery is not a competition

You may want to walk comfortably again, feel at ease when moving or simply understand a change that concerns you. You do not have to compare yourself with another mother or meet a deadline set by social media. Asking for support so you can have time for yourself is also part of that care.

Discuss discomfort at your postpartum follow-up

Leaking when laughing or coughing can happen after birth. The NHS recommends discussing bladder control problems during postnatal care. Something being common does not mean you have to keep it to yourself.

If something concerns you, note it down for your healthcare professional. You can say “this feels uncomfortable”, “I do not know whether to wait” or “I want to know what kind of support I need”. Your question does not need a technical name to be valid.

Gentle activity and equipment-based training are different

The NHS distinguishes gentle activity from returning to more demanding exercise and advises guidance according to the birth. That general information does not determine when PelviX is suitable. A caesarean birth, complications or symptoms require consideration of your individual situation.

We do not set a universal date for starting equipment-based training after pregnancy. Precautions are reviewed first, along with a healthcare assessment when needed.

How we can talk at Pelvi CR

Kirani can explain the service, listen to your goals and help you organise your questions before deciding the next step. Pelvi CR offers supported training with your clothes on; it does not replace postnatal care, medical diagnosis or physiotherapy you may need.

This first conversation does not require buying a package or promise a particular recovery. Your comfort and an informed decision matter more than rushing.

A first message, at your pace

If something concerns you now, contact your healthcare team. Very heavy bleeding, difficulty breathing or chest pain require urgent care, as described in the NHS postnatal guidance.

You deserve to be heard too. Read what happens at a first visit before deciding. Message me on WhatsApp to learn about Pelvi CR at Clínica Bio Dental, Pérez Zeledón, and ask questions before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ask for information while I am still recovering?

Yes. Asking for information does not mean starting an application.

Is there an exact week to begin PelviX?

There is no general starting point here; the decision requires reviewing your situation and the equipment instructions.

What if something concerns me now?

Consult your healthcare team. With very heavy bleeding, difficulty breathing or chest pain, seek urgent care.
